These Terms and Conditions govern your use of LocalBoost Partners (“the Platform”), operated at localboostpartners.com. By using the Platform, you agree to these terms in full.

1. About the Platform

LocalBoost Partners is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent local restaurants. We are not a restaurant ourselves — we provide the technology and platform that allows restaurants (“vendors”) to list their menus and receive orders. The restaurant vendor is solely responsible for preparing and fulfilling your order.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform and place orders. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Customer Orders

  • When you place an order, you are entering into a transaction directly with the restaurant vendor
  • Payment is taken at the time of order via Stripe, our payment processor
  • Once an order is placed and payment confirmed, it is sent immediately to the restaurant
  • You will receive an email confirmation for every order
  • It is your responsibility to provide accurate delivery or pickup details

4. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors listed on LocalBoost Partners agree to:

  • Accurately describe their products including ingredients, allergens, and prices
  • Fulfil orders placed through the Platform in a timely manner
  • Comply with all applicable food safety regulations and licencing requirements
  • Handle customer data shared with them (name, order details) responsibly and only for order fulfilment

5. Payments and Fees

  • All prices listed are in US Dollars (USD)
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By placing an order you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service
  • LocalBoost Partners charges a small platform commission on each transaction to cover operating costs
  • Stripe’s standard processing fees (2.9% + $0.30) apply to each transaction

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been accepted and are being prepared by the restaurant
  • If your order is incorrect, of poor quality, or not delivered, please contact the vendor directly first
  • If the matter is not resolved, you may contact LocalBoost Partners support and we will investigate
  • Refunds, where applicable, are issued at our discretion and are processed back to your original payment method

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Platform to:

  • Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information or orders
  • Attempt to harm, disrupt, or exploit the Platform or other users
  • Scrape, copy, or reproduce Platform content without written permission
  • Violate any applicable local, state, or federal laws

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform including logos, text, and design is the property of LocalBoost Partners or its licensors. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

LocalBoost Partners acts solely as a marketplace intermediary. We are not liable for:

  • The quality, safety, or accuracy of food or products sold by vendors
  • Delays or failures in order fulfilment caused by vendors
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order in question.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Iowa.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
